"The Magnificent Seven" live to ride another day. The TV series, based on the 1960 film that in turn was based on Akira Kurosawa's "The Seven Samurai," has had a bumpy ride since first appearing on CBS two years ago. The network tried it twice on Saturdays, then twice again on Fridays before dropping the show last summer. Now CBS has found a home for "The Magnificent Seven" on TNN, a cable network it owns. The show will have its debut on TNN at 9 tonight and repeat on Sundays at 4. Michael Biehn and Eric Close lead a group of gunslingers who help out the helpless citizens of a Wild West town called Four Corners. Look for more of this hand-me-down programming in the future. In March, "Harsh Realm," which bombed last fall on Fox, will reappear on its sister network FX. And "GvsE," canceled by USA Network, will head over to USA's Sci-Fi Channel under the new name "good vs. evil". @ART CAPTION:Biehn @ART:Photo (color)
