Take note

KKFI celebrates Black History Month KKFI-FM (90.1) will celebrate Black History Month with special daylong programming Saturday. Beginning with the overnight show "Free Style Fridays" at 3 a.m. and continuing through "Gospel Train" Sunday morning, a total of 15 KKFI programs are showcasing African-American heritage and culture. At 4:30 p.m., a panel of local leaders will discuss "The State of Black America." The one-hour program is moderated by Trudie Hall and M.C. Richardson. Also planned for Saturday are special editions of "WomanSong" at 11 a.m. and "Healthy Matters" at 5:30 p.m. At 6, Richardson and the Rev. John Akin discuss Africa's relationship with the United States and take phone calls.
