Remote patrol weekend

She's smart, quick on her feet and cool under pressure. She's the consummate broadcaster. So how is CNBC's Maria Bartiromo referred to by the male-dominated financial press? "The Money Honey!" Well, maybe this will make up for that sorry moniker: Beginning at 6 tonight, she gets her own show, "Market Week With Maria Bartiromo," on CNBC. It airs live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, where the scene will be much calmer than it is during the day, and Bartiromo won't have to shout or elbow for space like she usually does. But don't expect "Market Week" to be too solemn in tone. The show, which features interviews with Wall Street insiders and a review of the week's financial news, is clearly aimed at viewers looking for an alternative to Louis Rukeyser's PBS gabfest, "Wall Street Week" (9 tonight, Channel 19). Rukeyser looks like the kind of guy who would be knocked to the ground within two minutes of stepping onto a trading floor. And probably by an elbow from Maria Bartiromo. @ART CAPTION:Bartiromo @ART:Photo >>>
