Tonganoxie wins!

It only took five years and a dozen "Survivor" cycles, but a local finally won the biggest of the reality shows. Danni Boatwright, we'll be seeing you next season on the sidelines of CBS's NFL games.
Update: I just spoke with Danni -- here's a five-minute MP3 excerpt -- and she informed me that in the shot above, she's thanking the Lord she won. I thought it was pretty classy of her to keep it to that and not give us that "God was on my side, not their side" spiel we hear too often in jockdom.
My earlier story on Danni (and "Apprentice's" Felisha)
Earlier in the evening, "60 Minutes" aired "an abbreviated edition," so hot was the network to get to "Survivor" from the NFL overrun (as it happens, the game featured Danni's beloved Kansas City Chiefs). I haven't seen an abbreviated edition of "60 Minutes" since the 1970s.
