Oprah Winfrey, who's been defending author James Frey against all evidence that he fabricated the most dramatic part of his so-called life story, "A Million Little Pieces," will have him on her show Thursday.
"OPRAH" ADDRESSES THE CONTROVERSY SURROUNDING "A MILLION LITTLE
PIECES"
CHICAGO, IL On Thursday, Oprah, author James Frey, Nan Talese (his
publisher and editorial director from Nan A. Talese/Doubleday), and some of
the country's leading journalists address the headlines and controversy
surrounding Frey's "A Million Little Pieces."
Tune in Thursday, January 26, for a live episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show"
(check local listings).

My son is a recovering drug addict and James Frey's story has touched his life deeply and has given him hope in recovering from addiction. Even though he has embellished or lied in some parts of his memoir, he says that the general public is missing the point of his story. Unless you are an addict yourself, you will never know the struggles to overcome drug addiction. This book has given him hope for recovery.
