Dewey play it up? We dew!
Ed Dravecky wondered if the Kansas City Star would give our coverage of the goofup concerning the miners' story as prominently as it did the "12 Found Alive" story that bannered on Wednesday's editions.
The answer is yes -- and then some. Here's the PDF of today's Page One -- and as you can see, we ran four articles, including my assessment of the situation (which was a digesting of the points I made below and on Paul Harris's show) as well as a transparency piece from our ombud. Bigger play than Wednesday's edition, for sure. But whether we addressed Ed's concerns, or merely deflected responsibility like CNN did, I'll let you decide. All I know is, this problem isn't going away.

Also in Thursday's edition, my Q-and-A with locally-grown talent Blair Butler, who debuts on "Premium Blend" this weekend. You may know her as the comics chick on "Attack of the Show."
