Walter doesn't falter

And now, a few minutes with Walter Cronkite. The 89-year-old veteran newsman still has strong views about the news, and I got some face time to ask questions of him following his press conference to promote "American Masters." According to his chief of staff, Marlene Adler, who sat by his right hand and repeated any questions he couldn't hear, Cronkite works a full schedule, writing, speaking, traveling, and sitting for some 20 to 30 documentaries every year.

As will be obvious from this excerpt, Cronkite had no problem hearing my questions. Here's the Rooney link I allude to in the audio.
