I should've figured "In Justice's" goose was cooked. But this news confirms it.
America is still waiting the blockbuster TV show about exonerating the not guilty. Or should I just as well wait for a show about all the jet airplanes that land safely every day?
KYLE MacLACHLAN JOINS DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
AS NEW LOVE INTEREST FOR SUSAN
March 24, 2006 (New York, New York) — Former Twin Peaks G-man Kyle MacLachlan — most recently the star of ABC's now-adjourned legal drama In Justice — is joining the cast of Desperate Housewives for a multi-episode arc, reports TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello.
"He’s a lovelorn, single dentist who is trying to make a connection with Susan," says executive producer Tom Spezialy.
As for whether Susan will be open to his overtures, Spezialy reminds us that she’s got her hands pretty full in the man department. “She’s already entangled with her ex-husband and Mike, so he’s very much the fourth wheel in this situation,” he says. This begs a few questions about what happened to Dr. Ron.
MacLachlan will appear in a handful of episodes beginning April 16 and it’s possible he could return in the fall. "It depends how he plays," says Spezialy. "I would think he would fit in nicely in our world."

A show about all the jet airlines that land safely every day? Of course, you know that's been done:
