POPULAR ACTOR ANTHONY CLARK TO HOST NEW EDITION OF NBC'S HIT SUMMER SERIES "LAST COMIC STANDING"

BURBANK - March 2, 2006 -- Popular actor Anthony Clark ("Yes Dear") will host the new summer edition of NBC's Emmy-nominated series "Last Comic Standing," it was announced today by Craig Plestis, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming and Development.

"Anthony is a very funny comedian whose engaging wit and personality have made him a favorite with audiences," said Plestis.  "We're delighted to have him host the show when it returns to NBC this summer."

Perhaps best known for his starring role for six seasons in the television series "Yes, Dear," Clark also starred in the NBC comedy series "Boston Common" and in "Soul Man," opposite Dan Aykroyd.  Additional television appearances include HBO's "Young Comedians Special," BBC's "The Stand Up Show," NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Night with David Letterman."   He also appeared on multiple episodes of "Ellen."
