Other than killing him in every episode

Now I can see why Comedy Central yanked an episode of "South Park" (that had aired once already) in order to keep Isaac Hayes from leaving. How could they promote a "Chef's Back!" episode when the headlines said, "Chef's Outta Here"?

On the other hand....how hard would it have been to hire an Isaac Hayes soundalike voice, anyway?  Not to seem sacreligious, but if he was so upset by having his Scientology mocked, couldn't Comedy Central respect that and bid him (in the memorable phrase of former UN Special Representative Charles Lichenstein) "a fond farewell"?
