Just touched down....

... in southern California, endured the long (but cheap) shuttle ride to the Pasadena Ritz-Carlton, and immediately set upon my first goal: Find Jay Bakker.

As I mentioned here a few days ago, the son of televangelist Jim Bakker has his own ministry, and he agreed to allow the cameras of World of Wonder to document a few weeks in the life for an upcoming Sundance Channel miniseries, "One Punk Under God."

Well, on the way out I had the chance to view the entire 17-minute clip reel and I said: I've got to talk to this guy.  I had decided to come out on the second day of Television Critics Association tour and so missed the Sundance panel. But I got Jay, and we had a good long chat I hope to summarize.
