South Park to be probed

The highlight this morning, one devoutly hopes, will be the 10:45 session with Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Ostensibly it's to promote the 10th anniversary of the greatest cartoon satire of our day, "South Park." But in light of this Variety story, one can safely assume the session will consist of attempts to clarify just how serious Trey and Matt are about having Comedy Central president Doug Herzog's nads served to them on a silver platter. The AP story doesn't reprint the best quote, in which Stone calls Herzog "cowardly" and "dead wrong" for pulling the Scientology episode in the first place.
