The TCA World News Roundup
For those of you just checking in after three days, where you been? CBS was keeping us busy all weekend. Highlights:
- Tim Goodman live-blogged the Katie Couric thing. Smart idea, smartly done, especially the Dan Rather joke. Lisa D, as always, found a great metaphor for the event. Diane Werts did a compare-and-contrast with the TCA session for sleazy old Gene Simmons.
- Ellen Gray wonders why Katie Couric and her boss Sean McManus reacted so strongly to the single wardrobe question asked Sunday morning.
- Christopher Lisotta ate well at the Rachael Ray hoedown. Hal Boedeker feeds you “CSI” dish.
- Maureen Ryan sensibly swatted down CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler’s insistence that viewers don’t give a hoot whether a show is serialized or not.
- Rich Heldenfels, good soldier that he is, found time to visit the “Rock Star Supernova” set while we mere mortals stayed back and lamely wrote or napped.
Also, I've gotten caught up posting my dispatches for the newspaper. You can see them in the sidebar now. Or, to read back through all my TCA dispatches, use this link. Or to get the full spew of TCA bloggers' posts, crank this spigot.
