Why we need PBS On Demand

I have completely overlooked the "Great Performances" airing in many markets tonight: Bruce Springsteen and his 17-piece band rocking London to some of America's greatest songs as heard on his new ablum, "We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions."  I saw the Boss and his eclectic group of banjo, tuba, guitar and washboard players in Chicago and it was fabulous.  Of course, I was really there to see Mark Pender, from Conan O'Brien's band and Kansas City, steal the show with his electifrying trumpet solos.  But Springsteen was pretty good too -- and after all, he got the band together.

Anyway, I notice LA's PBS station KCET isn't airing this until 10 p.m. on the 25th, so maybe your market is showing it later, too.  As they say, check local listings.  You won't want to miss this.
