The Cooksie Page
John Cook swears to me he's going to get a site going for Cooksie, the alt-country band he fronts with his brother. That might take a while ... as John has just moved back to NYC to work for Radar, the magazine that won't die ... so in the meantime, this is your unofficial web space for Cooksie.

Why won't John Cook release these and other fine Cooksie original songs on iTunes and other music services, like he promised? Ask him. I'm Aaron Barnhart, and I approved this message.

I was a huge fan of Cooksie and even got them a couple of shows at the Hideout (I booked bands), including one with Eva Hunter and the now-famous Cameron McGill, back in 2002. Over the years I have lost contact with Matt & John and I rally miss their music! I was just wondering what they're up to and if there's any way to get in contact with them... Todd Durnil, Nightjar Management - christoddur@rcn.com - would love to hear more music (I know they were recording their second album, did they finish it???). Also, Aaron, the link to "All Right" is not correct, and I'd really love to hear it! If you could please fix it... Thanks! Todd Durnil
