GREAT TIMING
Watch Kevin Costner in his last marginally good movie, "J.F.K." (Cinemax). TiVo it and you can wind the action back and to the left, back and to the left, back and to the left.
7 p.m.
"Inside the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" (History)
7:30 p.m.
"Access Granted" (BET): 2Pac. Yes, that's what it says.
8 p.m.
Food and supplies fall from the skies on "Jericho" (CBS). Is it manna from heaven, or acts of a man-o'-war?
Is "Show Me the Money" (ABC) the worst game show ever? Let's see what Sabrina's scroll says!
The girls' votes count as to who will go home next on "America's Next Top Model" (CW).
"Madonna: The Confessions Tour, Live From London" (NBC) -- now with 99% less crucifixion.
"The Real World: Denver" (MTV; also 9 & 10)
"Most Shocking" (Court): "Undercover Stings"
"American Eats" (History): "Holiday Food"
8:30 p.m.
"Jamie's Great Italian Escape" (Travel)
9 p.m.
It's much too late for goodbyes on "One Tree Hill" (CW). (The previous sentence earned Julian Lennon a three cent royalty check.)
On paper, Taye Diggs' "Day Break" (ABC) seems like a cross between "Groundhog Day" and "24" with our hero, a homicide detective, reliving the same problematic day over and over, starting at 6:18 every morning (with the memories of each prior attempt). It's a tense "lather, rinse and repeat," presumably until he can clear his name, save his sister from domestic abuse, protect a gangster, retrieve a package in his mailbox, save a woman from being hit by a bus, and avoid ending every day being sedated by a mysterious group at a rock quarry. Silly? Compared to what Bruce Willis or Harrison Ford have managed to escape on the big screen? It's all relative. "Day Break's" two-hour debut has already shattered its formula, while giving viewers a few of the edge pieces that ABC promises (unlike with series like "Kidnapped" and "Vanished") will be filled in by February. Tonight's important piece: the identity of who helped frame him for Garza's murder.
"Criminal Minds" (CBS) targets a sleeper cell leader in Gitmo.
"Paparazzi" (BBC America) take aim at Kate Moss, Pete Dougherty and Angelina Jolie.
"Pokémon Ranger! Deoxys: Crisis!" (Cartoon)
9:30 p.m.
"In Short" (Sundance): "Wallace & Gromit's Cracking Contraptions"
10 p.m.
"Medium" (NBC) relives the same day over and over again ... it's like she's Taye Diggs or something.
Jeremy reveals why he can't raise the child Lizzie is carrying on "(Party of) Nine" (ABC).
Can a Bronx accent be translated into pidgin English on "CSI: NY" (CBS)?
"Top Chef" (Bravo) prepares a gourmet Thanksgiving dinner entirely from canned goods. Guest judge Anthony Bourdain may have reservations about this.
"Inside the NFL" (HBO)
"War Detectives" (Discovery Times): "Nazis on Trial"
"Mega Builders" (Discovery): "Mega Bridge"
"Driven to Invent" (Discovery Science): "Breakthrough at Suez"
"The Final Report: Getting Gotti" (National Geographic)
"City in Fear: The Versace Murder" (MSNBC)

LET THE MUSIC PLAY
Such was the claim made in Jim Henson's original pitch book for HBO's B) "Fraggle Rock" -- "A place that does not exist in our world. But you can get there from here."
