Feel good letter of the day

This Outraged Reader composed his screed just before the election. I received it just after the election.

A month later, when it resurfaced on my desk, it seems from a different era, doesn't it?

Then again, after witnessing the Robert Gates media lovefest of the last four weeks — which Reality had the gall to rain on this weekend with "new revelations," which consisted of somebody reading old clippings and remembering that Gates was an opportunistic hack who thought nothing of trading arms for hostages — you think, well, maybe Outraged has a point.

It does seem awfulmuch like Gates is getting a pass simply because he is NOT Rummy. This is not a good thing.
