I feel the need to clarify my previous post (I wouldn't want to write a confusing suggestion). Would it be possible to change font sizes and/or use bold type to make it a clearer outline?

Unfortunately, no. The column has multiple outlets (e-mail, Yahoo! and here), and we need to do one-stop formatting of the simplest kind. Tweaking for one creates problems at another. Sorry.
