Regent Ducas: The exit interview

KCTV-5's controversial news director is heading to Dallas. But before leaving, Regent Ducas had another February book to oversee, and another Q-and-A with the local TV critic. He offered his thoughts as to why KCTV was a bigger lightning rod for criticism than its competitors, defended his practice of interrupting regular programming for wall-to-wall weather coverage, and took credit for making Kansas City a newsier news market.
