Comic-Con starts today

The room's a little less crowded today at TV critics' tour, and I know why — the world's biggest pop-culture convention is starting just down the coast in San Diego. Yep, it's Comic-Con 2007.

So while we're waiting for Mo Ryan and the others to file their reports, I looked up my story from last year, when I attended Comic-Con, and found that it holds up pretty well:

Of course, any Comic-Con veteran knows to check the site of Mark Evanier regularly. He's the ultimate insider there, though he's challenged to update his site in between hosting upwards of a dozen panels there.
