Writers' strike: Janitors for justice

The service employees' union — which has taken L.A. by storm in recent years and is considered one of the recent success stories in the labor movement — joined the WGA on the pickets today. Kinda like having Oprah endorse your campaign. Yeah, it could backfire, but probably not.
