Why did CBS cancel "Moonlight"??

Dear Aaron,

Love your column! I don't blame you for not going to the upfronts anymore. I'm just a fan and knew information before it was 'official' so I guess the networks leak more than DC.

Anyway, I know by now you now that Moonlight was canceled. CBS is citing ratings, but after some digging I found out the show was winning its time slot and demo. It was in the Friday 8pm CDT dead zone. No show is going to pull 14 or higher at that time slot unless someone moves the Super Bowl there.

There are a bunch of folks, me included, that are working to get Moonlight moved to another network. Yes, I'm one of those internet fans that make noise that Ms. Tassler said didn't translate to numbers. Nielsen's are such a joke..don't even get me started. Check out the CBS Moonlight message board, www.moonlight-united.com and www.moonlightarmy.com and see if you think this movement is worth some print time.

Thanks a bunch!

Angelique H.
