That's funny. I was asked by Nielsen to keep a diary of my TV watching the week of July 4th. I tuned in every night as I always do to Countdown, except. Ms. Maddow was the substitute host. I'm male and 37, so naturally, I attribute her meteoric rise to me alone.:)

I do hope she's successful. It's been a tough slot recently, what with the hurricanes, and King's shows have been less about stoopid Hollywood drivel than usual. I admit, the Woodward interview had me on CNN for most of Maddow's show that night.
