Harry Shearer strikes again, grabs wild feed of Peggy Noonan calling GOP's Palin strategy "bullsh--"

Still more drama from MSNBC -- this time from two guests who think they're off mic! The YouTube video was uploaded from the account of Harry Shearer, and while he wouldn't confirm it was his handiwork ("Pure coincidence," he wrote me, though I'm pretty sure he meant otherwise), you know, I just don't see Mr. Burns giving out his password...

Marc Ambinder beat me to the transcript by half an hour, so I'll give him the link. But here's the juiciest portion:

MSNBC's Chuck Todd: Is she really the most qualified woman?

Columnist Peggy Noonan: Most qualified? NO. I think they went for this, excuse me, political bullshit about narratives.

Todd: yeah, they went to narratives.

GOP adviser Mike Murphy: I totally agree.

Noonan: Every time Republicans do this, because that's not where they live, and that's not what they're good at, they blow it.

If you're not familiar with the satellite work of Mr. Shearer, I invite you to spend hours and hours, as I have, trolling this site.

Between this audio treasure and the on-air feuding in Denver last week, the traveling MSNBC desk has been the site of some first-rate unscripted television! I wonder if MSNBC chief Phil Griffin is already drawing up a cross-country tour for the desk ... it could be just like "College GameDay." Only the stakes won't be as high.

UPDATE: Noonan responded sheepishly on the WSJ web site later today. All I know is this: If I talked about my employer even off the record the way that Peggy Noonan talks about her party's vice presidential candidate, I'd be ashamed.
