I think that Jay Lemo's comments relating to Sarah Palin is pretty much what all political figures go through, Palin wanted to be the vice presidential canidate, yet she want to be treated with kidd gloves, otherwise, she cries foul play because she is being treated unfair, because she is a woman. Yet when Hillery Clinton cried foul during her campaign, Palin stated that Hillery was weak to do so, and said Hillery was making it look bad for other women by whining, now Palin is doing the same thing. Palin loves to portray the tough image role, yet she wants to play the poor woman card when she is hit with any tough questions, or her qualifications are questioned. The men in this campaign is being hit with tough questions also, and their backgrounds has been investigated, that's part of the process to be an elected official to one of the highest positions in this land. Don't hate on Leno because he is exposing McCain for bad judgment in picking Palin has a running mate, and Palin for not being qualified to hold the position as Vice President of this country. I admit she brought excitement to the Republican base, however it would be a frightening thought of Sarah Palin being a heartbeat away from the presidency. Jay Leno as well as other celebrities are just highlighting the facts, she is not ready to lead this country, and just plain and simple not qualified to hold the position as Vice President. These are troubled and tough times for our country, Bush has done enough damage by being not qualified as President, despite of surrounding himself with qualified people. Bush still managed to make a mess of everything. Even with the most qualified talent. Clean-up behind Bush will be the toughest job any new President has ever encountered in the history of this country. We need the best talent this country has to offer, and Palin just does not fit the bill.

Hillary Clinton's (Amy Poehler's) most important line: "In conclustion, I invite the media to grow a pair. And if you can't, I will lend you mine." I have not met AB but this article leads me to believe his are intact.

Thanks for the article this morning -- sent me to your website for the first time.

The bottom line are the issues. I think anyone, including Jay Leno who gives a damn about our childrens future wants the presidential election to focus on the issues that will protect, provide and establish our children, children children's future. Palin has children but she is not qualified to look beyond her own state of affairs, she only cares about her own. There are at least 30 percent white collar, wealthy families who have the same views of Mrs Palin and Mccain and unfortunately they allot for 45-52 percent of the electoral votes that will decide who the next President will be. America if not careful will become a 2 class society, slavery in its newest form will rear its ugly head. We have been robbed and stripped naked by the oil companies, our own government entities (RIK program in GAS+OIL), Wealthy CEO's of major corporations are doctoring numbers and lying to the public (IPO companies)and walking away with billions and their punishment (a slap on the wrist and then retirement with huge severance packages (mortgage lending companies). Our umblical cord is being severed, America's weakest point is our strongest assests (human resource-middle class, oil imports, natural resources exports, big three, home mortgages, and of course, foreign investments). We have jeapordized our relationship with other nations by not listening to and paying attention to our foreign allies and neighbors who are willing to become a democracy. We need to pressure our adversaries and hold trade sanctions on those who do not adhere to our warnings to disengage in nuclear weapons buliding but our addictions to oil wont allow it those sanctions to stick (the cord is severed, we are losing our blood supply). You know the middle east is uneasy now and they are waiting for us to vote the next president in, nuclear strikes are coming....who do you want to be President, someone who believes we should engage in a cold war with Russia (because of our ally Georgia), a war with Iran (supported by China)who is against Israel (our ally)? The country is in a mess but I believe it's life can be restored because with GOD nothing is impossible and I need a President who believes in GOD and YES WE CAN be restored!

Unfortunately an extemely high number of Americans are just plain dumb. Many Americans DO NOT research the issue, etc. Many Americans ONLY listen to the commericals which are many times incorrect and they makee their decision on physical appearance and personality. Thank Heavens we didn't have TV when Lincoln ran.

A large portion of Palin supporters are for her since she seems so normal and like them. Well, pesonally I do not want a normal person who is like me. I'd rather have someone in the WH who is far more intelligent than me, does not have 4 children at home to take care of and has more foreign policy experince than having Russia as a neighbor.
