Joltin Joe! Scarborough F-bombs on MSNBC

Good to see Joe Scarborough is feeling really relaxed in his role as the morning man on MSNBC. So relaxed that, out of nowhere, he dropped this one on live television about an hour ago:

Mike Barnicle's reaction is instantaneous and priceless. Joe's delayed, stunned reaction as he receives word of his transgression in his earpiece is just about as good.

And yes, we have a television reference for this television reference. Seems that what Joe (who was beamed in from D.C.) was trying to say was that the new Democrat press secretary will be nothing like that guy Rahm Emanuel who used to work for Bill Clinton. The more we're learning about Rahm, the more we're put in mind of Ari Gold, the character on "Entourage" widely thought to be modeled on Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel, whose brother is Rahm. Told you we had a TV reference.

Anyway, Scarborough was trying to get Time magazine Washington bureau chief Jay Carney to tell the story of when he spoke to Emanuel for the first time and it became a scene from "Entourage" with Ari's brother Rahm yelling "Eff you eff you eff you!"

Only it didn't come out that way on MSNBC today.

Perhaps because he was in D.C. and everyone else was in New York, it took a little while for Scarborough to come to the awareness that he had said a word he is probably all too comfortable saying off-air (I know the feeling!). Finally he groaned in mock horror, "My wife is gonna kill me!"

At the end of the show, the daily wrapup "What Have We Learned Today?" included this signoff from cohost Mika Brzenszki: "Thanks very much for everything today!" while the rest of the gang laughed.

Thanks to alert-eared Richard Handal who caught the F word and the YouTube viewer.

MSNBC to Launch ‘Fucking Joe’

Just minutes after “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough dropped an F-bomb live on the air, MSNBC announced that it was re-launching the show to capitalize on its star’s salty vocabulary.

“Starting on Tuesday, MSNBC’s morning show will be known as ‘Fucking Joe,’” said MSNBC spokesperson Carol Foyler. “We want to send the message that if you tune in to this show, you’ll get a unique mix of breaking news and XXX-rated chat.”

MSNBC’s decision to reformat the show to accommodate Mr. Scarborough’s weakness for expletives surprised many in the cable industry, especially since the show owes its origins to the cancellation of shock-jock Don Imus’ ill-fated morning program.

But for Mr. Scarborough’s part, the move to “porn up” his morning show came as no surprise.

“This move is a fucking home run and anyone who doesn’t think so is a fucking cocksucker,” Mr. Scarborough said, adding, “Fuck.”

Ol' Joe must have thought he was over on Fox Noise. We know they are really tolerant of that kind of language, seeing how they will defend their right to swear at Democrats all the way to the Supreme Court.

5 hours later this story has been uploaded 13 times on YouTube ... It's been posted on many, many, many blogs worldwide ( I'm still looking for more)
12,500 views on just one of those videos. This whole thing is more popular than "The World's Ugliest Dog Contest" ô¿~

So now we know where Joe was on Halloween day. He was in Philadelphia at Citizen's Bank Park taking oratory lessons from Phillies great Chase Utley. Gotta love it.

I think if Don Imus can get fired because of his remarks so should Joe Scarborough. I felt more offended hearing a grown man speak like a thud. If MSNBC doesn't fire him I will stop watching.

It is such a shame when FOX and MSNBC plus BILLY O or so biased toward the Democratic party when even thier white race is tired of these right winged indiots that have bankrupt this counrty and even after George Bush and his brother in Florida stole the Presidency in 2000 that the public would demand the osther of these fools. I am only one opinion and voice, but I hope someone listens and lets hop on OBAMA'S train to get this economy started in the right direction and give a stimulus package and help the auto industry stay in business not out of business as the few republicans who are left has suggested. Jump on the train with me and declare that the TV stations get rid of those guys along with that fool Hannity which isthe worst of all of them.Don't they know the election is all over and that the nightmare called Pallin was a blessing in disguised just to show them that it people like Sarah Pallin and others who got us into this mess in the first place.
