Here's the legal notice posted this week by the KC's leading cable supplier. Missing from it is the notice that MLB Network will be available to all Digital Tier customers on channel 199 (and HD on 1199) on 1-1-09. (Channel numbers subject to change, of course.)
Don't get too worked up about the first part of the announcement -- it's called "Legal Notice" for a reason. I doubt Time Warner is going to yank Comedy Central or E!.

Regarding Recent Programming Changes Check Time Warner Cable Channel 1 for information on recent programming additions and other changes, or see the Channel Lineup page for an up-to-date listing of channels. HD channels begin at 997. To figure out the number for an HD version of an SD channel, add 1000 to the number. The only exceptions are local network stations, which add 1400.

KCTV's carriage agreement could expire? Really?
First Carl Peterson leaves and now this?
It could be the best Christmas ever.
(I know, I know -- just the prospect has me giddy)

Then KCTV can have all of the angry phone calls from people wanting to watch "CSI"/Dave/"Young & Restless"/"2.5 Men" and not being able to forwarded to your number. Merry Christmas!

This is a ploy by time warner to get you to call them, so they can upsell you on digital cable trying to convince people they need it for the dtv transition. This company is disgusting.

Please don't drop the Nickelodeon channel. My kids are 6 and 8 and live for the Spongebob show and others on that channel. You are doing a great disservice by dropping this channel!!!!!
