What's working for me this week...

1. Devyn Simone Sims in "The Real World: Brooklyn." The 2005 Miss Teen America and 2006 Notre Dame de Sion grad is one of eight glam hamsters living continuously in the frame as MTV's series returns to New York for its 21st series.
2. David Gregory takes over "Meet the Press." A good fit for TV's most antagonistic Sunday-morning show is the burr in Bush's side.
3. "Leverage." Best new TNT show since "The Closer."
... AND WHAT'S NOT
1. Gloria Squitiro a national story. What did we do to deserve this? Oh, that's right -- we voted her husband mayor.
2. CNBC shuts down documentary unit. Honored with every award imaginable, the 3-year-old division falls victim to money woes, ironically enough.
3. Fox Sports Net confusion. During baseball season, many Kansas City viewers of FSN were fed the St. Louis on-screen listings instead. Now it's hockey season and some fans say the problem still exists and they're missing games. How hard can this be?
