Don Imus HAS changed ... he's irrelevant

My buddy Dave Bauder of the AP sat down with the I-man to confirm that, in fact, he is still on the radio and the telly, and get this -- he's been on over a year!!

I jest, I guess. But the reality is that Don Imus used to live for publicity and notoriety. And he's generating next to none. Remember that racist remark he made last year about "Pacman" Jones?  It caused a mild bump in the news media and then ... nothing.

That's because, according to Bauder, as angry nasty racist as he used to be. And absent that, he isn't stimulating anymore. It was his cattle prod, the shock remark -- it was his raison d'etre. Why listen otherwise?
