In addition to Patrick McGoohan, whose death was reported earlier today, the 1970s television icon and star of the ABC hit "Fantasy Island" and the best "Star Trek" movie, has also passed. I do not know if his casket will be lined in soft Corinthian leather.
Meanwhile, if you missed it, here's the skinny on the great new website of original "Prisoner" episodes AMC posted last week. (I should change the headline, though.)

If I remember correctly, it wasn't "soft" Corinthian leather; it was "rich" Corinthian leather.

I also was sure it was "rich Corinthian leather" until I heard the commercials this morning. I think I know why, though. I recall Johnny Carson used the phrase a lot and I'm willing to bet that he was the original "misquoter."
