Regional Murrow Awards: KCTV-5 live, late-breaking, lauded
The best newscast in the tri-state region, according to the judges of the Edward R. Murrow Region 5 Awards, belongs to KCTV-5.
That's just one of the three Murrows the CBS affiliate grabbed this morning. It also won for a feature on the Precious Doe case and this TSA investigatory story.
KMBC got a Murrow Award too, for best continuing coverage.
In the radio competition, no local stations were so honored.
