"Unreal Housewives of KC" episode 4: Everything you know about the Power & Light District is, um, true
This was the tightest, most polished episode yet — and the housegals got a chance to get out and about thanks to the Power & Light District. It made for an especially slick and watchable "Unreal Housewives," so that's all to the good. However, anyone who has been reading our coverage of the P&L isn't going to have their perceptions of a party district for white Johnson Countians challenged by this episode.
Remember that story I linked to yesterday about network TV shows being 41% commercials and promos? This episode of the "Unreal Housewives of KC" is about 41% credits. Check it out ... the actual scripted portion is 2 minutes 32 seconds. The video runs over four minutes.
But that's not your problem, it's the producers', since most people will click away before the credits finish rolling, which will artificially depress page views. I understand the long credits are borne of necessity; many people are doing this mostly for a credit, and then there are the sponsors (including P&L). Perhaps next time the credits could roll in the bottom third — British style — while a music video plays. Just a thought, ladies!
