"We weren't looking to leave DOLLHOUSE..."

Last time I talked with Sarah Fain and Liz Craft, their first season at "Dollhouse" had come to an end and Fox -- the entity that actually has them under contract -- asked them to please go across the lot and help "Lie To Me" off the ground.

Well, they must've done a crackerjack job, because Fox has asked them to stay on as writers and executive producers. Fain told me today by e-mail, "We weren't looking to leave Dollhouse, but Tim Roth really liked our script last season, so the studio wanted us over here. It's a little sad, but everybody on LTM is great, and we're working with Shawn Ryan again, which is always a good thing. Plus, we have a great office!"

Previously on TV Barn, I wrote a whole bunch of stories on Craft and Fain.
