Dick "Astounding Failure" Ebersol rips off Conan!!!

Greg Diener writes, “Hmmmm, NBCOlympics.com has a feature where you can view Olympic tweets in real time and it's called a Twitter Tracker.”

That is hilarious, considering that NBC Olympics chief Dick Ebersol famously called Conan O'Brien an “astounding failure” just before announcing he was going to lose $200 million for NBC because he overbid on these Winter Games. Ebersol, who hasn't had a good idea since he fired himself as the executive producer of "Saturday Night Live" back in the '80s, probably never watched "The Tonight Show with Conan," and is unaware of the irony.

Or maybe it's as Greg suggested in passing along this bit of oddball larceny: “Great to see Dick Ebersol is so much in love with Jay that he's taken his gimmick of stealing others’ bits,” he writes.

Ohhh, and payback is a beyotch: Alpine skier Jeff Zamansky's tweet ripping NBC's coverage of alpine skiing was spotted here at ... yep, the TwitterTracker TwitterTracker TwitterTrackerrrr!
