What are you thankful for?

As part of our Thanksgiving preparations, we’d like to hear your thoughts on this question:

What are you thankful for this year?

Aim for 50 words. Reply by Monday. We hope to publish a sampling of opinion in the Thanksgiving Day paper.

There are two options to reply:

Go to the Unfettered Letters blog (http://blogs.kansascity.com/unfettered_letters) where the question will be posted at the top and provide your reply in public. (You will need to register, which is quick.) Or, reply to communityopinions@kcstar.com.

Thanks much and Happy Thanksgiving.

What am I thankful for? Separation of church and state. There's nothing more scary than having relgious radicals of any stripe enforcing their beliefs by governmental decree.
