Royals President Dan Glass initially stated that the Royals did not need a roof. The Royals have said they will contribute nothing toward its construction. Would it not be more feasible to construct a retractable roof over only Arrowhead Stadium?
This would save millions of dollars in construction costs, as there would be no need to build tracks or install expensive motors required to move the roof.
Lastly, funds for this roof should come exclusively from Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt and the private sector. The taxpayers should not be obligated to fulfill lifelong dreams for millionaires.

Ray,
That has always been the KC way... Keep it on the ballot till it passes but would you see a new ballot measure to remove the 3/8th cent sales tax? I don't think so.

Hold your breath. This guy I agree with. If the Chiefs want the roof, they can pay for it by themselves. It just ain't necessary.
