I wonder whether Tom Guyot realizes how utterly heartless and hateful his letter in Sunday’s Star (7/23) sounded. It is possible to express the opinion that a memorial to those lost in the Hyatt skywalk collapse might not be the best use of public funds without implying that the survivors are money grubbers.
I would be willing to bet that they’d rather have their loved one back than collect any amount of money.
