Tattoos not news

Oooh, a middle-age woman getting a tattoo on her backside on the front page of The Star. (8/7, A-1, “Sturgis souvenirs”).

How edgy! How hip! How au courant!

How 1994. Next thing you know, The Star will feature a guy getting his ears pierced.

Getting a tattoo was one of the dumbest decisions I’ve ever made, and I always tell people who are considering it to think it over three, four and five times before they do. I’m not sure why it needs to be featured on the front page of the newspaper.
