Paint odor from plant

Winter is finally over, so we may at long last open our windows, sit on our decks or look forward to yard work. That is unless you happen to live near the Ford plant in Claycomo. What many times greets us is the sickening smell of paint. Many days it’s so strong that enjoying any time outside is impossible.

Ford says it meets EPA standards. Tell that to the hundreds of people who live in this area who can’t even open a window without the stench of paint coming in.

The question, of course, is whether the writer lived there before the plant was constructed, or did they move there with the full knowledge that the plant was already there?
