Miley Cyrus photo shoot

Shame on Annie Leibovitz! As a photographer she should have chosen a pose that was age-appropriate to her client. Miley Cyrus is quoted as saying, “That’s what she wanted me to do, and you can’t say no to Annie” (4/28, A-6, “Star apologizes for photo shoot”).

Therefore, I think Leibovitz should be held responsible for the inappropriate pose. Don’t blame Miley. Miley was probably starstruck with the idea of working with a photographer of such stature and fame. She has already expressed regret and embarrassment at the photograph. That shows me maturity beyond her 15 years.

By the way, I am a professional photographer.

Famous or not, Annie Leibovitz is guilty of exploitation of a child, and Billy Ray Cyrus is guilty of neglect.

Vanity Fair is not some underground magazine and Annie Liebowitz is a very well-known photographer. The magazine and her work should have been checked out by Miley Cyrus' parents. They are the ones who are entirely responsible.

I'm sick of these kind of bumpkin people who are amazed when something like this happens.

We have both the Spears' girls, especially Britney claiming she and Justin Timberlake were virgins and apparently nobody watching out for her sister.

Then there's the ex-preacher, Joe Simpson, pimping out his daughters.

The Lohans are not any role models as parents and they all let their daughters dress too old and seem to be going for publicity 24/7.

But then go to Oak Park mall - in the heart of Christian values country - and look at the way the girls are dressed.

See what happens when you remove the Bible from Vanity Fair!

Didn't Shakespeare write something about this kind of thing?

"Much Ado About Nothing"

didn't drew barrymore do something like this when she was under 18? with boxing gloves or something?

Cyrus will be the next Brittney Spears. It will be funny to see how the events in her life unfold, and if they are exactly like Brittney's.

apparently you all dont have anything better to do than to be demeaning to the Cyrus Family!!! Leave my future wife alone!!!

Adult market magazines using kids in provocative poses? Is that ONLY inappropriate behavior?

Adult executives know better. They just don’t seem to DO better.

There is nothing innocent about an adult magazine portraying a 15 year old pretending to be naked, hair tousled, wrapped in a bed sheet.
