There was a picture in The Star (6/25, A-5, “Bring back my Spongebob”) of two young girls holding signs protesting high gas prices, prices so high that their mother had to cut off the cable television to pay for gasoline.
Yes, we are all feeling the pinch of higher energy costs. But every cloud has a silver lining. Perhaps the two girls will be able to use the time ordinarily spent watching cartoons on television to study their spelling lessons in school.
If you look closely at each sign, one has the word “money” misspelled (“monny”) while the other sign has “cable” spelled as “cabel.” Sheesh!

Not welathy but not a welfare case either. Let's see casady, I did nothing wrong in my first marriage except serve my country. I have plenty of compassion just not for people that lie, cheat and steal from others. I never said anything about being shrewd. Investing versus asking for what some crook in the government can weezle out from someone else. Yep, paying for kids that are not mine. The tens of thousands of dollars I have paid, all of a sudden does not count. What I should do is make the crooks that LIE and STEAL pay. You may think it's okay for people to committ perjury, but I don't. Funny thing is when some father or ex-husband has a decrease in wages or increase in budget by no fault of their own, no one gives a sh**. I'd like to run into you in public and we'd see how much you run your mouth. All I know is those involved in stealing form me what is not theirs will pay and pay big. Anyone that endorses and takes the side of these domestic terrorist will be collateral.

Yeah, we've heard it all before NMMNG. First you brag about how wealthy you are and how you are such a shrewd investor but then you turn around and do nothing but complain all day long about having to pay maintenance and child support. Just move on with your life and by the way hot shot, some people are, in fact on a budget and do have to make choices when their monthly expenses increase by $100 or $200 a month. They do not buy their kids $120 Nikes nor do they drop $200 a day at the boats and wear desinger clothing. I've learned not to paint different socio-economic classes with such a broad brush. You may want to consider doing the same.
I'm convinced that your getting screwed in your divorce was karma at it's finest. You have absolutely no compassion for anyone no matter what the situation. What goes around comes around.

Casady tell you what how would like being stolen from? How would like being held with a gun to your head everyday when you have done nothing wrong? How would you like to be forced to finance terrorist factions and groups? How would you like your hard earned money being spent frivilously? Perjury? Perfectly acceptable so long as government can benefit monetraily and politically.
I am NOT happy and the day I read about Janel Luck and the other in Jeff City suffering a painful death is the day I will be somewhat satisfied. They cause and inflcit pain on my family, so they deserve 10 times the pain they dish out. May bad things fall upon her, Gloria Townsend, Marco Roldan, Sherrill Rosen, Charles Bender, Lori K. bell. May their families also suffer since they have caused much sifferage for other families. They hav edone this knowingly and for their own benefit. In fact they even admitted it publically.

Judge Judy says you are not allowed to tell a child "no" unless you are a CP.

Casady I would be just fine if rogue government and corrupt, fraudulent acts were accountable by the State of Missouri.
You have no idea how frustrating it is to be forced to pay something you do not owe and regardless of what is done you have no recourse, except to uphold the oath which could veen be more detremental in the short term. When a "single mom" complains about being in a poor financial situation by their OWN doings, they are praised but when government knowingly admits to fraud but makes excuses, the labeling and libel continue. You just have no idea, this is not getting screwed, it's beyond that. Meanwhile my family suffers financially due to saomeone elses doing.

NMMNG, you are not a happy guy, are you?

Sarah not according to the statues, cable, sports camps, manicures are all entitlements. Technically gasoline is not a neccessity, a person could use public transportation. The fact remians, unless mom drives a very distant commute to work, it is more of a mainstream buzzowrd fashionable attitude.

Perhaps Mom was taking the opportunity to teach her girls a very valuable lesson in setting priorities, a critical life skill. Gas is necessary, cable is not. Sounds like a job well done to me.

I would ask how much money mom spends on other non-essentials. Does she have a Rewards Card for Harrah's?
Cable is fairly inexpensive, I would say that is an excuse for someone that simply has poor budgeting skills. Unless mom is an over the road truck driver, I can not see where $40-50 a week would hurt someone's budget so bad that they simply can no longer manage to live. You see if that money were a tax, mom would be perfectly fine with forking it over.

with the letter headline, and the way the letter started, I really thought it was going to be a lead in saying "the two girls resorted to showing off their boobs for girls gone wild to pay for their gas and cable"
