To the couple in Section 209 who actually had the audacity to tell me to sit down at the Bruce Springsteen concert: Really?
I hope you had a great concert. I hope you can also sense my sarcasm.
Go back to the nursing home if you’re not up for seeing a rock ’n’ roll show!

No one sits through an entire concert, but most people show consideration for those around them, and work out something agreeable to everyone. My husband used to work part time managing security and customer service for one of the concert promoters, and at almost every show someone would complain about people standing up in front of them. Usually, they would move the “sitters” to another location – better seats, if possible. If that wasn’t possible, the sitters were out of luck. Even if it were possible to make everyone sit, the bands would hate it.
On the other hand, let’s hear it for Julie’s mom. Her ability to instill manners in her daughter puts her parenting skills in the same league with Britney’s mom.

The only times I think I've ever sat at a Bruce show was when I was really burnt out from seeing him the night before. I don't know how that guy does it night after night.
And Vibiana, it's obvious you have never been to a Springsteen show.

Good afternoon renfro,
Anyone who thinks people should sit down at a rock, country or any other type of modern dance music doesn't really belong there. What concerts do you go to? I haven't been to one in a few years but I clearly remember being on my feet along with most everyone else attending shows by the Stones, Santana, Bob marley and many more.

Don’t be frightened Julie -- Although a female Mary Martian played the never aging Peter Pan years ago in a stage production it was just a fantasy --- If not mentally you will eventually grow physically tall enough to see over seated adults at a Rock Concert.
Bruce Springsteen? I thought he was in Denver at the Obama Concert.

Sit down for the "Boss"? Are you kidding?

Hey Julie--the "old fogies" may have asked you to sit down because they couldn't see through you. Perhaps YOU should go back to kindergarten and learn some manners!
