Don’t judge others in parking lot

I would like to answer the question of who needs special parking (9/17, Letters). I am 75 — told I look younger — a cancer survivor, and I have rods and screws in my back, plus other medical problems.

I can still walk into a store and take my time wandering around, but I can’t rush around in a parking lot, which is dangerous, to say the least. You can’t judge a book by its cover. Didn’t the Lord say not to judge, or you will be judged someday?

Good morning Vet,

With this guys condition I don't see how he is abusing the system.

"rush around in a parking lot" is dangerous? Give me a break! You're just rationalizing your abuse of a system intended to benefit people with serious problems.

When my wife's uncle had a handicapped hang-tag it was used most by his four kids -- none of whom were handicapped, except ethically.

I work in a busy retail store with six handicapped spots near the door. Most of the people who park in those spots have no apparent handicap and I think most of them are scamming the system.
