Regarding name calling

I have received several complaints regarding personal attacks so I've deemed it necessary to post a reminder. Please keep your comments to the topic of the letter. Let this serve as a reminder to all that this site is for civil discourse, not creative insults. They are tiresome and tend to negate the value of your opinion in the eyes of us all. It is possible to disagree without hurling insults.

Thank you,

Purging Rogue and NoMoreMrNiceGuy from this forum would eliminate about 90% of the gutter name-calling.

Gentle Ben

Yes, like when Dave Helling wrote about Frances Semler and let all of the lefties call her every name imaginable? Is that sort of what you're talking about?

TinyAlise

Yes - So make sure that you don't try to imitate me. Our names are pretty similar.

And did you know that one of the things that's strictly forbidden in the terms of use is to pretend you're one of the other posters?

TinyAlise

Me Either. I have never ever done it, and I promise that I will never ever do it again.

Does anyone else notice that that doesn't make much sense? /*unless I did in fact do it*/

Pub 17

I didn't do it, and I promise never to do it again.
