Thank you, Dennis Moore

This year my wife switched her Medicare part D from one Humana plan to another. Previously the premium was paid by credit card. For 2008 we requested a Social Security deduction. Humana confirmed this would happen.

Social Security started deducting, but Humana continued charging. After several calls, Humana stopped charging. However, Social Security was not paying Humana. We received a letter from Humana stating coverage would be terminated unless we paid by a certain date.

After many phone calls to Humana, Medicare, and Social Security, nothing happened. Finally, we called the office of U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore. Alicia Deville responded. She asked us to send her all the details.

Within 10 days we received letters from Humana and Social Security stating everything was OK. Humana refunded the duplicate charges.

We are lucky to have Dennis Moore and his able and caring staff. Kansas needs more of Moore.

Comments

If Dennis Moore votes for this trillion-dollar Wall Street bailout, he should be impeached.

Dennis Moore pays lip service on his website to simplifying taxes. But he has done absolutely nothing about it.

He should be sent to early retirement in November along with the rest of the incumbents responsible for the sad state of our country today.
