Bailout politics

Fannie, Freddie and Obama

Actions speak louder than words.

In 2006, John McCain said, “If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system and the economy as a whole.”

Barack Obama is part of the problem. The only member of Congress (since 1989) to receive more money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than Sen. Obama is Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), chairman of the Senate Banking Committee. Obama took his funds in four years, during which time McCain raised the alarm about the problems with these mortgage giants. Obama was well aware of the problem but accepted money from them anyway.

Sen. McCain has the vision to see problems ahead for us and the courage to confront them for all Americans.

Millions ... billions ... priceless

Five U.S. senators (including Sen. McCain) to obstruct regulators:

Cost: $1.3 million dollars.

Taxpayer bailout of Wall Street years later:

Cost: $700 billion dollars

John McCain’s assurance he is the best one to handle the crisis:

Priceless.

There are some things money can’t buy. For everything else, there’s (the government) MasterCard.

Rogue--last night after you left some guy named Barry called and wants to talk to you. Get back with him at 202-456-1414.

BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAA.....

Actually, I'm ON vacation AND writing the book. Nobody on this planet is as smug as a patzer like me who got completely out of the stock market six months ago and put it into CDs, for no particular reason.

The point is that the original accusations that Obama was bought and available for sale by the GSE's for $120,000 were ludicrous, considering the $450,000,000 he's raised so far for the campaign. That's three-one-hundredths of one percent of the total. C'mon. If the other ninety-nine and ninety-seven hundredths of his contributors all have a piece of him, that breaks his vote into nano-confetti.

Chris "Countrywide" Dodd took the most from Fannnie, Osama Yomama Obama was second, Period. End of Story.

Dodd, Raines, Frank, et. al. belong in jail.

What do Obama and Bin Laden have in commmon?

Close personal friends who attempted to blow up the Pentagon!

Hey, Pub's back. I trust you had a good vacation and are well-rested and ready to tackle the writing of your book.

It's all about spin. Obama took more from employees and their families. McCain took more from associated PAC's and lobbyist groups. When you lay out both sides, it's not a win for either.

"In either case the amount taken was a fraction of one percent of the money they've raised."

I'm not sure why the percentage matters, unless like in fractional ownership, each person gets a piece of the candidate equal to the percentage given. Face it, they both took the cash and both initially looked the other way when it became apparent that there were problems.

The People Who Struck The Match, Set The Fire, and Fanned the Flames Which Are Burning Our Economy To The Ground Are Conspiring To Shift Blame And Avoid Jail Time. And One Of Them Is Set To Be Our Next Attorney General.

The Major Players Including Jamie Goerlick, Franklin Raines, Daniel Mudd, and Jim Johnson are at the heart of this meltdown.

Aided By Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Chuck Schummer, Henry Waxman, Maxine Waters, Artur Davis, Gregory Meeks, Lacy Clay, Harry Reid, John Kerry, Barrack Obama, and Nancy Pelosi.

These people owe the American People an explanation, an apology, and perhaps some jail time. Don't take your eye off of the ball. These are the people who lit the match and fanned the flames. One Of The Players, Jamie Goerlick is set to be our next attorney General. We simply CAN'T let this happen or they will all go free.

And You Certainly Can't Dismiss Acorns Involvement In The Melt Down. Acorn Was Heavily Involved In Pressuring Banks To Make Less Than Credit Worthy Loans In Economically Depressed Areas. Obama Was Their Lawyer When They Threatened or Sued Those Banks To Make The Worthless Loans

Sorry, Linda J. By repeating a lie you don't make it true.

McCain took more money from the GSEs than Obama. In either case the amount taken was a fraction of one percent of the money they've raised.

How does it feel to be stupid?
