Veteran supports Graves

Kay Barnes says, “A dismal record, a disgraceful campaign” or something to that effect in reference to Congressman Sam Graves. I know Sam Graves personally, and that’s not the Sam Graves I know.

For instance, I know Sam Graves as an Eagle Scout, as someone who has played “Taps” at many returning veterans’ funerals returning from overseas, and as a Congressman who helped me get my medals for serving my country in the military for 25 years. I am part Native American, a born-again Christian, a Boy Scout and leader since 1962, and I believe that Sam Graves is the best candidate for the 6th Congressional District.

I believe in our nation is a country with a “government of the people, by the people, and for the people,” and a country blessed by God. God promises that “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

There are reasons for opposing bills that sound good. Congress is skilled at giving misleading titles. As to your "deserter" comment you have no proof and the President has an honorable discharge. In any event such statements are inappropriate for a Clinton supporter.

My mistake. Did I say Draft Dodger in Chief? I apologize, that's Deserter in Chief.

That's why I don't belong to any vets' organizations. Al Gore can wear the hat, Kerry got the medals, but George Bush (Draft Dodger in Chief) got the cheers because he pushes the right buttons. It wouldn't be so bad if Sam Graves voted WITH other fiscal conservatives, but he votes WORSE than other fiscal conservatives.

But by God he plays Taps at the funerals. Sam Graves can go directly to hell. I needed VA med services up on Linwood in the era when guys were on their backs with maggots in their noses, and that's not going to happen again.

Seriously--YOU stand in front of a DAV meeting and tell them they're a bunch of whiners.

Note to 17 Pubes, I am a veteran, and I have a great deal of respect for the DAV, BUT, they do not represent all Veterans and they are primarily concerned about how much more aid they can get from Uncle Sugar They have never been crazy about any fiscal conservative so their ratings, and ratings from like organizations against Same Graves does not surprise me.

If you want to test the Veterans opinions about Same Graves and Kay Barnes just stop by any VFW, or Legion Hall and take a poll.
You might learn something.

Mymymy I swore I wouldn't interrupt my vacation to bother with you idiots, but this rips the bag.

Sam Graves is a stinking, anti-Vet pig who didn't serve, who loves to hang out with vets and wave the flag, and who has the worst voting record of ANY Missouri Congressman on veterans' issues, of either party.

Feed on this, you fools:

C'mon, Rogue, tell us how the 87% of vets' bills that Sammy voted against were so full of pork that Uncle Sam refused to vote for them, a fact that escaped the other REPUBLICANS in Missouri.

Amen, Sam Graves has been a blessing to veterans like me and Kay Barnes is reaching deep into her barrel of mud to dare slander Sam Graves this way. The “Say anything to win” Kay Barnes is not a reflection of the values we hold here. Kanas city knows a different Kay Barnes then the “Small town” girl she is now claiming to be now. We had never heard she was from St. Joe until she started her nasty campaign against Sam Graves. Run as who you are Kay, not as you want to fool people to think you are.
