I believe that it has come to the time in Mayor Funkhouser’s career that he must say goodbye. I find it unbelievable that a man of his education and position cannot perform his duties without his wife at his side.
I sure wish I would have known this before I wasted my vote on Funkhouser for mayor. I now apologize to Alvin Brooks for not voting for him. He would have been a much better choice at this point.
And am I hearing this rumor that Funkhouser is thinking about re-election. Surely he is joking.
Mayor, please save our money and our time next election and stay at home with the little woman.

All of this nonsense going on at City Hall is pretty entertaining to read about. It’s kind of like reading the headlines of the gossip rags in the grocery store checkout lines. It reminds me of the Kansas City school board.
Why is all the blame on the mayor? Isn’t the council just as childish?
