‘Angels’ walk among us

An angel on earth paid for my groceries recently.

I went to the Apple Market in Argentine in preparation for Thanksgiving Day. As I placed my groceries on the counter I faintly noticed a tall, muscular man wearing dark clothing standing ahead of me at the end of the counter. I was absolutely surprised when the cashier told me the gentleman had paid for my groceries. I managed a quick thank you as the man rushed out the door.

This awoke me to the thought that some individuals we, in passing, unknowingly rub elbows with earn their stairway to the stars with their characteristic good deeds to humanity.

Thank you, sir, and may God bless your kindness.

Don't get me wrong, I feel people can spend their money how they see fit. I just don't get how someone in a supper market line could know what that person needs.

Oh well. I hope that guy helps me when I have that nice bill too.
