‘Thanks,’ careless SUV driver

To the driver of the black SUV who ran me and my little green Alero off the road at South I-635 and Exit 10, across from the Argosy Casino on Jan. 9. Thank you for swerving into my lane, so you didn’t have to exit. Thanks for not stopping and checking to see if I was OK. Thanks for ruining my evening with my family after I was gone on a business trip. Thanks for not helping pay the $75 dollars to the winch company to get out of the ditch. Thanks for not helping pay for the alignment and the remount and balance of my tires.

My car came very close to rolling over and down the embankment. I also almost hit a guy on a motorcycle avoiding you. Luckily I was not hurt, and neither was anybody else.

A little courtesy would be nice from drivers. I understand that sometimes these things happen, but the moral thing to do is stop and try to help.

To those of you who did stop and check on me: Thank you so much for caring. I really appreciate it. You are the people who should be on the roads driving.

1979-80 there was a private club underneath.

"I feel like I'm at Biba's under the Plaza III. I know you are a transplant so I'll explain"

Don't know Biba's, but I remember Plaza III as the first place I ever picked up a dinner tab for over a thousand bucks. It was 1990 and I had an expense account. Can't remember most of that night, but the next morning was hellish.

"Chicks of extraordinary appeal."

Shucks, Sol, thanks. I'm working on a way to forgive you for voting for Bush...twice. Now I'd post a smile emoticon, but I hate emoticons.

Casady,

He's full of manure. BuddyT says he was an officer, I think his only recent action involves his "Ollie" poster and blow-up Palin doll. That and being vigilant in looking for race-hustling community organizers infiltrating Blue Springs.

He wouldn't confront anyone without a contingent of like minded individuals with him, and as XVII points out, a Maverick seats 2 adults and three youngsters.

(I would have done this one in Croatian too, but whats the use, he doesn't understand English either)

TinaMcG,

I didn't think I would ever meet anyone as sweet as my darling Kate here in these threads, I feel like I'm at Biba's under the Plaza III. I know you are a transplant so I'll explain, Chicks of extraordinary appeal.

OMG that was ME! If I hadn't read the Letters this morning, I never would have known! The guilt--my God, the guilt! I can't stand it--today I turn in my licen...
Wait a minute? An ALERO? Forget I said anything.

TinaMcG

Why was this letter published? Why isn't it in the personals section? Gawd, how I loathe sneery-toned "thanks for nothing" messages. So Kyle, rather than let it all go and take a few deep breaths, you fueled your fire until you decided the best thing to do was send a rant to the Star, knowing they'd probably publish it.

Work on those anger issues. They'll kill ya.

No, Rouge was an officer, he'd order somebody to do it for him.

Casady

When were you last in the military, Rougy? Wasn't it like 40 years ago or something. While I can understand you being proud of your service and I thank you for it, it's really sad that you never moved on with your life.

And let me get this straight. After cutting someone off, you would follow him to Starbucks and slap the snot out of him. Nice guy!

solomon

If you must know I'm too busy setting up dates for yomama to take on any other workers.

Pub 17

Your mom's my business manager, kiario, and my idol, and my ideal.

mianotkia

Hey Race Card, I got an idea, why don't you pimp for 17 Pubes, man that ia a business arrangement bound to make money!

Listen the first stop Race Card is Leonard Wood at 1600 today, troop train pulling out then. Get old Pubes shined and saddled and get her down there Race Card. I know you can do it!

Pub 17

Incidentally, I'm roundly upset that yesterday when I went looking NOBODY had the final shot of the Gene Wilder Everything You Wanted to Know segment where he's huddling in a doorway taking hits off a bottle of Woolite.

Pub 17

You mean kiario?

solomon

BuddyT, has changed his name to MiaFarrow. He tried on a gown to see how closely he looked like Gov Palin and realized he looked more like Mia.

mianotkia

Nah I wouldn't run the little whinning squirrel off the road, I would just wait till he stopped at Starbucks and slapped the snot out the loser.

See the real crime here is that the guy had the gall to drive an SUV, the heartless SOB...

Hey Pubes, troop train leaving Ft. Leonard Wood 1t 1600 today, Saddle UP!

Stifled Freedom

Where is Rogue these days?

Pub 17

Rouge WANTS a 1974 Chevy Suburban 4X4 with that good ol' 454, what he DRIVES is the Original Maverick, a 1971 Maverick Grabber with Wide Oval tires.

whispering_to_kc

A rude, speeding SUV? Near the casino?

Rogue?
